Communities
We all have a story or narrative that we are shaped by as we grow up. These stories shape how we think and behave. Some are good stories and some are not. Good news! ....Jesus came to change the story or narrative in our lives and He wants to change "stories" all over Dublin!
As a family, we have placed a huge emphasis on "Being" (which is our way of saying that discipleship is primarily about being in relationship with Jesus. It starts there and must be the centre of everything we do).
However, genuine "Being" will always flow into our "Belonging". If we are in relationship with Jesus, this also connects us together as His body. As God grows Saoirse, being part of one of our new communities is a vital way that we can belong (feel connected and released).
These communities will naturally be "Bringing" the flavour and reality of how God does life... God's way of doing things is called His Kingdom. If we as individuals and communities are becoming more like Jesus, then we can expect those around us will become impacted and changed. This is how towns and cities are influenced!!
Over the last few months, we are convinced that God has been speaking, leading us and growing a number of these communities.
How can I be involved?
- If you are already involved in a community, then continue to "be and do" all you can to see it thrive and move forward.
- If you want to be involved but don't know which community is for you, then check out the information below. Feel free to ask questions of the leaders of the communities, your own friends or any of the Saoirse leadership team.
- If you are not sure about whether you want to be a part of a community, then don't panic. The first thing that we would ask you to do is ask God about it, then know a real freedom to chat and talk with others. If it helps to come and talk with leaders, then we would love to serve you in that way
